DJGA Commits to Sheila Mini Links

DJGA Commits to New Sheila Schafer Mini Links
Bismarck- The Dakota Junior Golf Association founded in 1987, has spent the past 24 months expanding across the State and reaching more junior players than ever before. As part of this growth the DJGA is excited to announce the financial commitment of $400,000 to Bismarck Parks and Recreation to rebuild the Sheila Schafer Mini Links at Pebble Creek.
The Mini Links served golfers of all ages in the Bismarck area for more than 20 years at its previous location near the VFW arena. The mini links were removed at the end of last season and the DJGA had put the job of finding a new home for the links at the top of its list for 2023.
The new Mini Links will feature a 4 Hole loop, plus an additional green with multiple tee boxes.
“We couldn’t be more excited to have a plan in place to rebuild the Mini Links, from beginners to advanced players the Sheila Schafer Links always provided a great place for the game of golf, to add it to the Pebble Creek Course will create a truly remarkable Golf Facility with multiple practice areas, a 9 hole course, the inside Top Tracer and now the Mini Links!” Tim Herman, President DJGA.

  1. My mother, Sheila Schafer, would be so proud to know that DJGA is continuing it’s efforts to bring the great game of golf to beginners and experienced players alike. Wishing DJGA much success in it’s new location.
    Thank you!
